Poti is the port town on the Black Sea in the northwestern region of Samegrelo – Zemi Svaneti.
This is where the project will initially focus. Our goal is to establish an SDA church and develop local leaders that will multiply the effort so that they can also start more churches. Through teaching English, we want to build friendships that lead to Bible studies.
The day we visited our soon-to-be home town, it was pouring rain, and we had only about half an hour without rain. The people were also scarce as we went there on a Sunday.
