Tim and Dawn Holbrook, with their son John, went to live among the Alangan people on the Philippine island of Mindoro. Only a few hours’ travel from modern, bustling Manila, the Alangan people lived much as they had for centuries, hunting and foraging in the mountain jungles for their food.
